Begin with the intact medieval cathedral, then visit St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life next door. The museum covers world religions and contains artifacts from major faiths plus Glasgow's religious history.
Necropolis and City Views
Victorian cemetery on the hill behind the cathedral with 50,000 graves and elaborate monuments. The walk to the top provides the best panoramic views of Glasgow and takes about 20 minutes each way.
People's Palace and Glasgow Green
Social history museum telling Glasgow's story from 1750 onwards, housed in a Victorian building with tropical Winter Gardens conservatory. Glasgow Green is the city's oldest public park, dating from 1450.
