9:00am Meet at Peace Gardens, Sheffield city centre - Groups of 6–20 gather by the fountain. Coach departs once roll call is complete.

9:50am Arrive Castleton village - Small peak-district hamlet with stone cottages and narrow lanes. Coach parks near village centre.

10:00am–11:15am Guided cave exploration (Blue John Cavern or Speedwell Cavern) - Underground tours last 45 minutes. Paths are paved and lit; stairs descend 250+ feet. Temperature is 50°F, so layers are essential. Geologist guide explains stalactites, Blue John mining, and cave ecology.
