Reading Museum
See Roman finds from nearby Calleva Atrebatum and the Bayeux Tapestry replica. The museum explains how Reading developed from Roman times through its role in cloth trade.
Forbury Gardens and Reading Gaol
Relax in the Victorian gardens then view the former prison where Oscar Wilde was held. The Banksy mural on the gaol wall depicts a prisoner escaping using bedsheets.
