Here is how the experience unfolds:

0-5 min Entry briefing and shelter seating - Group enters replica air raid shelter. Staff provide context on November 1940 bombing and safety instructions for the 4D effects.

5-8 min Ambient shelter setup - Lighting dims. Background sounds of distant aircraft and civil defence sirens establish the 1940s setting.

8-22 min Bombing simulation sequence - Intense 4D effects: explosions, vibrations, smoke, heat lamps, and darkened lighting recreate the air raid. Authentic sounds of bombs, emergency services, and radio broadcasts.

22-28 min Aftermath and recovery narrative - Effects subside. Film/audio describes the scale of damage and city rebuilding. Lighting gradually restores.

28-30 min Exit debrief and gallery access - Exit shelter. Staff available for questions. Access to free gallery exhibitions on Coventry's bombing and recovery.
